Empire of the Sun and MGMT

Empire of the Sun is formed by Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore -Australian duo from New South Wales released their first debut album in October 4, 2008 and made someone surprised about their strange looks in the music videos for track 'Walking on a Dream' and 'We are the People'.

Empire of the Sun

Their music sounds like electronic , alternative , pop and a bit like MGMT's sound, especially when we first saw their both music videos, they made us feel like..... haaa? what a crazy band ! Awesome duo, odd and unique music, crazy outfit, strange look and all dreaming lyrics ! Uhh.. if you don't understand what MGMT is - MGMT is an American duo based in Brooklyn and New York also known as The Management consisting of Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser. A lot of people think they sound a bit similar but I don't think all Empire of the Sun's sound really seems like MGMT's, although everyone who has ever listened to their songs always tell me. Something different between them might be because MGMT's Andrew VanWyngarden is much more handsome than Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore ! hahaha I'm just kidding. I think, you should listen to their songs by yourself, then you would find out something different between them - I can't explain it ! But I don't deny that they really don't have anything similar - BECAUSE THEY REALLY HAVE !

MGMT

However, I love both MGMT and Empire of the Sun !

The Reader - We love you, Hanna Schmitz

Today, I've just gone to the cinema with my friend, Mint and my sister, Mai and we chose The Reader. I don't have much to say about this film - everyone knows that this is one of the greatest film of 2008 (although it's just been out in Thailand). I can say only ..sad and sad. It doesn't seem to be sad because of love but it seems like..... I can't explain anything, you have to watch it by yourself ! ..Love, Hot Kiss, Sex, Literature, Law, Criminal, Nazism, and Pain..

I love Kate Winslet as Hanna Schmitz in this film. She is a real actress who is also talented and beautiful and deserves the Best Actress in a Leading Role from Oscar Awards 2009, Best Actress in a Supporting Role from Golden Globes 2009 and other interesting awards (I mean The Reader only - not including Revolutionary Road). Anyways, I love this film and want you all to watch this film. More than the word "Impressive".

Although this film shows the other side of Nazi supporter but that can't change my mind about World War II and the Nazi party. Maybe, it's because we had watched many films about Jewish's pain in World War II that always make us feel depressed about the violence which once happened with the humans. My favourite films about World War II are The Pianist and Life is Beautiful - not too bad to learn what the real world is.

One of my classmate, Jump is a big-fan of Heath Ledger. I don't know why but he always tell everyone that Heath Ledger is freaking awesome, especially in “The Dark Knight” (although I usually tell him that Brokeback Mountain is much more weird ! hehehehehe).
And Mine really adore Anne Hathaway. I used to argue with her that who is better between Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson in Bride War although I really don't want to see Bride War at all (it's not my type anymore !!!). I don't mean that Hathaway doesn't work but I love to see Miss Penny Lane much more Princess Mia ! (The Princess Diaries used to be one of my favourite books-films. POOR MOOK !). I love Almost Famous and its soundtrack - Rock 'n' Roll is back girls !

Anyways, ............
SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, THIS TUE - CAN'T WAIT !

The cool Alison becomes a wicked vampire !

Go to Youtube and search for The Kills' new video for track 'Black Balloon'. I suggest you to do it now ! The video is freaking cool and I love this video most from all of The Kills' ! The cool Alison "VV" Mosshart becomes a wicked vampire and she bit her band mate Jamie "Hotel" Hince till he became dead by both of her fangs. WICKED !

HUMAN PART :

VAMPIRE PART :

Both are awesome and freaking cool ; I love The Kills and this video although I don't really like blood (sure ! who loves blood? At least, some of the big fans of 'SAW' or 'My Bloody Valentine' !).

Full Video :

Country House & Roll With It

Back to 1995 to "THE BATTLE OF BRITPOP" between BLUR and OASIS when they released singles in the same day ; BLUR - 'Country House' and OASIS - 'Roll With It'.

Finally BLUR won this battle by 274,000 copies (OASIS : 216,000 copies) but let's think with me ; If you were there - in Britain in that time, what would you adore - 'Country House' or 'Roll With It' ?

It's not easy to say who is better but between 'Country House' and 'Roll With It', I think that they both were awesome and sounded amazing but I love 'Roll With It' much more than 'Country House' because..... I don't know......... Maybe because of the lyrics or maybe because of the Gallagher Brothers ! Oh no no no it isn't because of any Gallagher; Noel or Liam ! I also adore Graham Coxon ! Let me try again - it's because I love '(What's the Story) Morning Glory?' much more 'The Great Escape' ! AHA ! NICE ANSWER !
