Taking Woodstock has been announced that the film will premier at the Cannes Film Festival 2009 but I haven't found anything to make us sure that the film will surely show in Thailand. We all have to wait wait wait wait and wait !

Now I exactly know how Jeff can update his blog every half a moment - of cause, I also do ! It's just because I have nothing to do better than this. This summer goes suck, it's freaking hot and the politics makes us feel highly bored, or you don't think so ? Everything goes wrong.

Where The Wild Things Are - There's one in all of us :

This is the third time that I write the article about Where The Wild Things Are in my blog (and the fourth one might come !). The original book is freaking wicked cute. So, it doesn't make me surprised that much to know that everyone has waiting ! Maurice Sendak + Spike Jonze = AWESOME !

The reason that I write about it again just because it's going to be out in U.S.A. on October 16th 2009 ! (But in Thailand.. I don't know when. At least, 1 month later, shit !) Look at him, mate - This boy, he might be the most adorable kid I've ever seen ! (But I'll never imagine how certainly handsome he is (when he's already grown up) because all the Hollywood young stars all make me feel disappointed with them when they become older !)

Though, I would love to see an adult version (see the detail in my older post) but it'll never happend. So, I'm looking forward to watching this version - also interesting.

This French animation film is about a modern day Noah, a family who has to deal with the deluge prophesied by the frogs. A flood has hit our planet and they are all that remains. This little group has managed to defy the furiously raging elements. People and animals alike are dragged through this incredible whirlpool of an adventure.

All the characters, both humans and animals are damn damn damn cute, you couldn't tell which of them is the prettiest. The whole backgrounds are all made by crayon that makes this looks so fascinating. I love those pinky pigs, they're confusing cute !

Kill me, babe

In the early 2009, I first saw tons of photos of Alex Turner and Alexa Chung at Heathrow Airport, U.K. and couldn't know exactly how I felt when I saw Alex's new curly longer haircut at that time. I did think, it was probably a big mistake of his lifetime and he's surely going to do something changed with his hair. I don't even think he's had that haircut till today .....untill I saw him again on the cover of NME Magazine's lastest issue. (I actually saw him with that haircut again at NME Awards 2009 but I still thought he's going to change !) For christ's sake ! HE TOTALLY HAS NOT DONE ANYTHING WITH HIS HAIR ! Oh my god, mate, you should see it - it doesn't suit him at all ! In fact, his new haircut, it doesn't look so bad but.. it doesn't suit him, mate not at all ! He suit the shorter one more, I can really tell.

Alex, you should do something with your hair. If not, I'll never call you as "my beloved" again ! hehehehe (Turner : Who cares ?) Ok, we shouldn't judge people because of their looks, right ? So he's still my favourite musician of all time ..if the forthcoming third album is certainly awesome like the first one and the second one have ever done.

Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner's new album lyrics stolen

Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner has revealed how the Sheffield band's forthcoming third album was almost scuppered – because his lyrics book was stolen.

Singer/guitarist Turner told NME.COM that the book he kept all his works-in-progress in was nicked last year, so he had to start from scratch.

"I got my bag robbed six months ago, I lost this notebook," he said. "I lost loads. [It was in] this brown book with a picture of a fox on it."

However, Turner explained that he used the opportunity to get to work on some fresh lyrical ideas.

"I went the morning after and brought a couple of Moleskines and sat around for a couple of hours trying to remember it all," he said. "But I found the whole process made me write more things, complete things that I wouldn't have otherwise."

Arctic Monkeys are set to release the new album this summer. See next week's issue of NME, out May 20, for an exclusive cover feature with the band.

Låt den rätte komma in

Let The Right One In (Låt den rätte komma in : Swedish) - a Swedish romantic horror film about Oskar, an 12-year-old boy who fell in love with a young vampire, Eli who never let you know about her much. It's directed by Tomas Alfredson and written by John Ajvide Lindqvist (adapted from his own 2004 fiction, Let the Right One In or Låt den rätte komma in a.k.a. Let Me In) If you can remember, once I used to write about this vampire film in this blog, These drive me mad1 (April 2nd 2009). I want to watch this Swedish film very very much ! But the trouble is.. no-one wants to watch this film with me at House RCA (House is the only one cinema which will have Let The Right One In showing on May 14th 2009) ! They say "it's such a scary film - full of blood !" Poor girl, this is absolutely romantic ! No-one understans me ! (even if they both are about human, vampire and their loves but Let The Right One In will surely better than Twilight, a romantic vampire film for teenagers, please trust me ! (though I've never watched Twilight hehehe). It's far darker, gloomier, more haunted, more horrific and more violent than whatever Twilight is). It won loads of awards and also got loads of praises. Now Let The Right One In was signed to be remade by Matt Reeves for the Hollywood version in English.

What follows is an actual interview that actually took place. On the phone. Yesterday. Actually.

Journalist: Hello, Noel?
NG: Hello.
Jnlst: Shall we begin?
NG: Vamos!
Jnlst: Ok. Last time you were seen in Santiago with a sex turkey, what happened?
NG: ?? 'Scuse me?
Jnlst: My pardon. What happened with a sex turkey?
NG: I'm sorry, but did you say "a sex turkey"?
Jnlst: Yes. What happened with him?

HIM?? Jesus! Now, I'll freely admit - if pushed - that I've got up to some dubious gear in the past but this guy can't really think I've had full homosexual sex with a man-turkey? Can he?

NG: Ok. We seem to have crossed wires here. Shall we just go back to the beginning and start again? Slowly? Yes?
Jnlst: As you wish.
NG: Ok. Fire at will.
Jnlst: Sorry?
NG: Never mind, just get on with it!
Jnlst: Ok. Can you explain what it was like in Santiago with a sex turkey and how it compares with Chris Sharrock?

Now, I'm thinking, this is either a live radio comedy stunt thing or someone put acid in my tea.. unless...

NG: When you say a sex turkey, do you mean ZAK STARKEY?
Jnlst: Of course.

SEX TURKEY!

Jnlst: Of course. What did you think I meant?

Noel's 'Tales From The Middle Of Nowhere' (23/02/09)

Spent the day in bed yesterday nursing a bad head. For some reason I watched MTV’s European Top 10. Fuck me, it was painful. Leona Lewis doing Snow Patrol? Ouch! Kings Of Leon doing U2? Ouch! The Killers doing fancy dress? Ouch! Lady Gaga? (I may be showing my age here but who’s Lady Gaga?). It made my teeth hurt! MY TEETH!!

That interview with The Sunday Times fella was great. He was good fun. Not often you can say that about a journalist.

Still in Venice. Leaving shortly. I genuinely have no idea where I’m going. Are we staying in Italy? I hope so. These kids make for amazing gigs.

Wonder how “the shoes” are getting on? I’ll find out soon enough.
