Waltz with Bashir - Persepolis

Can you remember the Iranian black and white film called 'Persepolis' ? The film shows us what Iranian people think with the Iranian Revolution and Islamic Republic.



Marji (Marjane Satrapi), the writter of the original comic book tells us that Iranian people need more freedom and peace to do the right thing by their own way. No more any human rights violations or any enforcement or war.






War is what all the people think that it's crappy and wasteful but we always make it up by our dirty hands, don't you ? You might feel you aren't a war criminal but I can really say that we are.




If you don't believe me please check out the trailer for the Israeli film called "Waltz with Bashir". The film is now nominated for Best Foreign Language Film in Oscar Awards. Someone told me that it would probably be the 'Persepolis II' but I don't think so. I think they both are what they are and they're awesome.
